The venue is clean, the staff is helpful. They serve generous breakfasts for all tastes with muffins, BREAD FOR TOAST plus bagels. The location is central. There is Ca'puccino nearby for a cup of coffee...

The hotel is clean with generous breakfasts and hospitable staff. Great value, enjoyable stay for the price. Marvellous location to Clark Memorial Field. Based in a large grassy area. Plenty of different restaurants and bars to eat outside the property.

Units with all the essentials.

It was shabby, and worn down. The lobby had a tv blaring loudly, with junk food for sale on shelves, and the whole place had a listless, uninviting feel to it. We would not go back.

Good location, nice rooms, provided you take into account that the breakfast information is incorrect. There are two beaches in the village (5 minutes by car). Several restaurants within walking distance. Price/performance ratio was good.
We booked the motel also because of the well rated breakfast. But in fact only the typical American breakfast was offered, and that in bad quality (no waffles, no pancakes, no scrambled eggs and no bacon, only packed stuff). Several guests were surprised about the breakfast. I asked the staff why they no longer offer a warm breakfast. He said that they had stopped because it was not accepted and they had to throw away so much. Well.

The room was dated and not comfortable. The furniture was old, the carpet was stained, and there was mold in the bathroom. For the price, this place was awful.

Near where a wedding I was going to. Priced right for what we were looking for, a bed close to the hall.

Liked nothing. The place is a DUMP. We are in our late 60's and chose this Days Inn because all our other stays at various Days Inn have been very good. The woman who greated us at check in looked like a "bag lady". We opened the door to our room and would have turned around if it had not been too late for us to get a room some where else. The room stunk. Turned on the A/C to air it out. The TV was not plugged in and found the electrical outlet had come out of the wall. Major fire hazzand. If we had called the Old Saybrook Fire Department, they would have shut down the hotel. The soap dish in the shower is hanging on by a thread. We always could count on Days Inn. Not now. The overall ambiance could benefit from some updates.
